MISSION & HISTORY.
This is a non-profit organisation devoted to climate change education. We use globally leading science-based workshops and simulation tools to spread the message. We provide a 1-stop shop of workshops & tools and facilitator directory for organisations to build their training portfolio.
We are committed 100% to 'put back' to society and the planet we live on.
All earnings from educational and business support will be invested into local and national sustainable development initiatives, small and large.
On 17 April 2017 I arrived at the North Pole with a team of 5 (including 2 Amazon Prime film team for the making of “True North”) completing a film of a one-lung 2*cancer survivor skiing over 3 weeks to the north pole. On extraction via a Russian Ice Station, I learned that there was 1 million square KM less ice that in April 2016.
I was ‘gob-smacked’!
As a result of this, I started my PhD into measuring impact across the UN ‘global’ Sustainable Development Goals at local infrastructure level 4 months later.
I have pivoted my career away from national/global consulting (having set-up-built-sold a leading European strategic advisory group) towards teaching and research.
My focus at the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction is all about developing the research knowledge with like-minded academics and students – I am incredibly excited at the possibilities – the potential areas for development to respond to the climate change crisis are infinite and urgent – please reach out to me so we can connect and drive your/our work forward.
